Will children even know what a real library is in 50 years?

Why do I have to put an app on my computer to keep me off of Facebook and other distracting websites? Do I really not have any self-control? Am I really addicted to Facebook?

Why can’t I just sit down and do my homework? Are we all just too afraid to actually work? I’m full of excuses. I had to force myself to devote the entire day to homework to even think about getting anything done.

I can’t even write as quickly as I type. My handwriting sucks and is unreadable. What ever happened to penmanship? (or cursive)

I find it disturbing that I’m already speaking of things “back in the good old days” and I’m not even 19 years old.

I only use the Internet to research! I don’t even know what my life would be like without google. How would you know what websites to use? No Wikipedia? Computers are pointless without Internet these days.

We haven’t lost the ability to write. It just tends to be in a different way. I haven’t noticed the degradation of the English language just yet. More parents use slang in texting than kids do, haha.
